Mix Waterplug powder with clean lukewarm water to a putty consistency.  Never use mixing water over 100 degrees F.  Extreme heat causes setting to begin immediately and lessens structural strength.  In extremely hot conditions, use ice water for mixing to slow setting action.  In cold weather, warm material to 70 degrees F before mixing.  Do not mix more Waterplug than can be placed in 3 minutes.

Always undercut or square-cut the crack or hole by cutting to a minimum depth and width of 3/4".  Flush away all cuttings and dirt.  Force Waterplug into crack or hole.  Push firmly, using strong pressure.  Do not brush or trowel over surface, or crack will not seal.  Keep damp for at least 15 minutes.  Seal cracks at the junction of floors / walls with a round tool and smooth out.  Form cove at junction.  To stop running water, start at the top and force Waterplug into the crack.  At water pressure points, hold Waterplug in the hand or on trowel until slightly dry.  Press firmly into the opening, stopping the active water.  Then cut patch even with the surrounding wall.  To anchor bolts or metal posts in vertical holes, drill a hole deep enough to properly secure.  Leave at least 1/2" on all sides of bolt.  Fill hole with Waterplug.  Tamp so that the material fills the entire hole.  Immediately center and force in the bolt.  Keep moist for 15 minutes.  Do not apply any pressure for at least 5 hours. 

Do not heat Waterplug above 70 degrees F.  Do not use mixing water over 100 degrees F.  Protect all ingredients from temperatures greater than 70 degrees F.  In excessively hot conditions, cool ingredients prior to mixing.
